We look for value-added businesses in the food & beverage ecosystem serving the following channels:
  • Premium private label retail
  • Foodservice
  • Unique branded retail
  • Industrial / contract manufacturing
  • Ingredients
  • Direct-to-consumer
  • Supply chain services

Key investment criteria specific to our food and beverage investments include:
  • Authentic, natural product orientation
  • Unique production capabilities / operational excellence
  • Clean ingredient decks
  • Better-for-you or indulgent products
  • Farm-to-table
  • Unique certifications (e.g., gluten-free, Kosher, SQF)

Our investments include the following characteristics:
  • Strong, defensible market position
  • Significant potential for long-term growth
  • Diversified customer base
  • Stable and predictable cash flow
  • Talented management team with a personal investment in the business

Most of our platform investments are in companies with:
  • Revenue between $20 and $100 million
  • EBITDA between $3 and $15 million

We seek to invest between $10 and $30 million in each platform, often through a series of investments to fund growth, plant expansion and acquisitions.
